A cleaner desk without the clutter
Begin by identifying the cables that actually move: laptop power, phone charging and frequently unplugged peripherals. Route permanent cables along a stable path and leave service slack so monitors can adjust without tension. Keep power strips accessible and never overload them or conceal equipment that needs ventilation.
A practical checklist
Measure the space below your desk; use removable cable clips for changing setups; separate power from movable peripherals where practical; verify that trays and mounts fit your desk. A beautiful cable box is not worth sacrificing ventilation or safe access.
